MPUMPALANGA BLACK ACES FOOTBALL CLUB - AMAZAYONI

Felix is confident

Mpumalanga Black Aces captain, Felix Musasa says they are not worried about Jomo Cosmos’ results as they will fight their own battles.
Musasa was speaking to www.blackaces.co.za after Cosmos bagged one point at the expense of Maritzburg United whom they played to a goalless draw at Rand Stadium earlier this afternoon. The outcome means that Ezenkosi have now frog-jumped Aces to occupy the 15th position with 20 points while Aces dropped to the bottom of the 16-clubs Absa Premiership log with 19 points.

"We don’t care about other clubs’ results, but all we are doing is to focus on fighting our own battles so that we can avoid relegation at the end of the season," says the confident Musasa.

AmaZayoni welcome BidVest Wits University tomorrow under the floodlights. Kick-Off at the Pumas Rugby Stadium is 7.30pm, and Musasa is positive that they will win the game come rain of sunshine.

"We have declared war against every club playing us at home, and I don’t see Wits spoiling our day and the atmosphere right in front of our supporters. We will match them pound to pound, and we are even prepared to die for the much needed three points at stake," adds the Congolese-born defender who goes by the nickname of King.

Musasa says their plan against Wits is to score as early as possible so that they can frustrate them while closing down their strikers.

"We did that in our first round match when we beat them 1-0 at their own back-yard, and I am positive that we will repeat that feat especially that we will be playing in front of our fans that are always supportive," adds Musasa.

Musasa says victory against Wits will bring back the morale to their team as it will see them reclaim their 15th position on the log.

Other Absa Premiership matches to be played tomorrow evening are
Free State Stars v Santos (Charles Mopeli, 3.30pm),
Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloemfontein Celtic (Super, 7.30pm)
Orlando Pirates v SuperSport United (Orlando, 8pm).
