Firstly, let me acknowledge and thank you for bringing visibility of our team colours and the contributions that you as supporters are making. On Wednesday you really demonstrated to the country’s football people that you are passionate and very supportive of your club.
The match against Amazulu
We will be playing Amazulu Football Club at the Moses Mabhida Stadium and for the second time Amazayoni will be looking forward to collect maximum points. We beat Amazulu at home by two goals in the first round and will endeavour to collect a full house against them.
On Sunday afternoon will be invading Durban and I am confident that God will be on our side and will give us strength to overcome Usuthu. It is going to be a big challenge for us, but what gives me joy is that we come to this match a more confident team after Wednesday encounter against Wits which ended in a stalemate.
We have great and exciting players whom we all believe can beat any team at any given time. We are expecting good weather in Durban and a word of advice to our fans - Let’s try and rally behind the team and make our voice heard in the stands.
Amazulu will be waiting for us especially after their 2-1 win against Golden Arrows. I pray that they find our boys at the peak of their performance on the day and bring back the full three points.
The boys indicated to me that this is one game they would love to win dearly. They are confident that they will go into that Moses Mabhida Stadium cauldron and get the job done.
All our players know what is at stake. This Sunday is the day that we are going to fight to pocket maximum points.
Mazayoni lets pray for the best as we want to continue in making meaningful strides. See you all at Moses Mbhida Stadium.
