Aces will be determined to beat AmaZulu in an Absa Premiership clash on Sunday afternoon at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, kick-off at 3:30pm.

Match Info

Usuthu are fresh off an exhilarating 2-1 win over Golden Arrows in their midweek league match. That win saw them move up the league table three places to tenth spot on 29 points and they are in with a chance of finishing inside the top eight.

Aces, were unlucky in their midweek match when they played to a 1-1 draw against Bidvest Wits.

When the two teams met earlier in 2009/10 PSL season the match was convincingly won 2-0 by AmaZayoni. Aces will be hoping for a similar result on Sunday.

However, the last time the two played a league fixture at the home of Usuthu, Aces lost that game by one goal to nil.

Overall the two teams have faced each other in 26 official league matches since 1985. Of those games AmaZulu have won more times than Aces, running out victors on 11 occasions and Aces nine times.

Aces’ line-up from their 1-1 draw to Wits: Ramogoadi; October, Musasa, Makoti (Mmuso 67’), Lekgothoane; Mbatha, Zuke, Sithole, Masondo (Machaka 82’); Maleka (Mulenga 46’), Smith.

AmaZulu’s line-up from their 2-1 win over Arrows: Mzimela; Kasonga, Ariweiyai, Chintu, van Heerden; Ngxabi (N. Zwane 75’), Biyela, Mabaso, Hadebe (Gumede 90’); A. Dlamini, Ritson (Ngwenya 69’).
