Mpumalanga Black Aces have won home ground advantage in the National First Division promotion play-offs against Nathi Lions.
Aces will face Lions, who finished second in the coastal stream of the NFD, behind Vasco da Gama who has since earned their passage through to the Absa Premiership.

Although the Premier Soccer League is still to confirm the venues, AmaZayoni are likely to take the match to either Ackerville or the usual first preference home base, Pumas Rugby Stadium.

The club which wins after these two-legged play-offs will go on to face the winner between African Warriors and Black Leopards. They face each other in the second play-off in Limpopo on the same day (March 17).

Both Lions and Warriors qualified for these play-offs after they each finished second in their respective streams (coastal and inland). Leopard missed out on automatic promotion after they lost 3-2 on aggregate after two the twolegged play-offs. Aces qualified by the virtue of finishing in the 15th position on the Absa Premiership log.

Both Lions and Warriors will host the second leg matches on March 24 in KwaZulu-Natal and Free State respectively.

The final match which will also be in a form of two legs will be played on April 2 and 7 respectively.
