The tough holding midfielder brings with him loads of experience and stability to the Aces engine room.
Biyela who made a name for himself at AmaZulu was recently on the books of Golden Arrows.
Club CEO, Marc Grune is excited to have finally signed Biyela. He told blackaces.co.za that the team’s management will do everything in their power to bring talented and experienced players into the club.
After being with the team for a week, Biyela impressed the technical team and was given a 3 year contract.
"We are happy to have signed such a talented and experienced player in Biyela. He brings with him the kind of stability that we need in the team", Grune told blackaces.co.za.
"This year the team will certainly be competitive and we have mangaged to sign some quality players and we are looking forward to this season," said Grune.
The 29 year old defensive midfielder is a leader and a true professional, who has been called up twice for Bafana Bafana. His talent will help the ambitious Aces to compete seriously for honours this season.
He likes to play deep in the midfield and break down opponent’s moves. He is also good in starting moves for his team and helps create scoring chances for his team mates. Biyela will form a good combination with Bongane Twala who was also signed recently.
The likes of Lindokhuhle Mbatha and Vusiwe Masondo are some of the players who will also combine well with Biyela. Biyela was on the books of Golden Arrows last season.
Aces, who are showing progress in the voting of Telkom Charity Cup will hoepfully unveil the new players at the tournament.
Some 14 new players have been signed this season (3 from our Vodacom team) and the club is in final negotiations with 2 more players.
