Walter Ramulondi (pictured above), who has been recalled to the squad, is an experienced and hard-working striker whose bustling style and eye for a goal has been his trademark. His career has had its ups and downs and there’s no doubting his talent – if he remains focussed on the job at hand, he will succeed this time around. He is a popular player and the 29 year old may just be another option for Aces upfront. He is a tall aggresssive player and reads the game well. His off-the-ball work is as good as his on-the-ball and its his deceptive runs into space that gives many opponents nightmares.
Another striker who is being assessed is the former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs center forward, Nkosinathi "Chippa" Nhleko. The Mpumalanga-born player is in the twilight of his career and his experience maybe crucial in an Aces team that has all the credentials on paper, but is simply not firing on all cylinders.
The technical team are looking at both players and a descion is expected by the end of the week.
