Aces under 15’s, who had a bye last weekend, will kick-start their season against Rosina’s under 15’s at 9am.
Aces under 17’s who where buoyed by a great 0-0 draw with Supersport last weekend, will play at 10h30, while the under 19’s are due off at 12H00. All fixtures will be played at the Rosina Sports Field.
Various academies are playing in the inaugural SAFA Gauteng Development League in the following three age groups.
U15 - players born on or after 1 January 1997
U17 - players born on or after 1 January 1995
U19 - players born on or after 1 January 1993
The under 15’s will play 35 minute halves, while the under 17’s play 40 minutes and the under 19’s 45 minutes per half.
Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sport School are probably the top soccer school in the country and last year represented South Africa and Africa at the International Soccer Federation Schools World Championship in Brazil.
Sedibane, named after the South African athletics great, have youngsters who play for the SuperSport United Tottenham Hotspur Academy.
Aces next face the Moroko Swallows Development away on 6 May 2012 at Dobsonville. The league will end on 22 July when Aces play a home fixture against Pretoria University
