Ironically, AmaZayoni go into this crucial match arguably in the best form for a while. They have left it late and their seven games unbeaten run will come to nought if both Bay United and Dynamos win on the weekend.
All NFD matches, the last of the 2011/12 season, will kick-off congruently at 3pm.
And for fans of Aces, it’s virtually unimaginable or inconceivable that Aces be relegated to the 2nd division. They have had a shocking season, however do go into Sundays game with a little form.
The scenario for Black Aces is easy! Firstly, they must win which will take then to 33 points, 1 above both Dynamos and Bay United. Should the aforementioned teams both lose, then Aces would end 13th on the log – 2 positions above relegation. Should Dynamos beat the mid-table Carara Kicks, then Aces would rely on Blackburn Rovers to either beat or draw with Bay United. Rovers, who themselves need a win to secure their play-off berth, are going to be tough and it’s likely that Bay United are going to battle.
The wily Sakala has done wonders with Aces, and his team should virtually choose themselves. Keeping it tight at the back with the "glue" of Eddie Williams is how Aces have played recently. The precocious talent of Roger Majafa and Ayanda Lubelo combining with the experience of Denis Masina, should supply the tall strikers with enough quality ball.
Phumelele "Ace" Bhengu has an eye for goal and so has Linekar Mwiikisa who has enormous energy and will run all afternoon.
This league needs Aces and we would like to wish the team all the very best and Gods speed!
