    Coaches Corner:
Best game of the season so far, boys showed character to come back from a goal down to win 2-1. It was a very physical game but the boys gave as much as the got.

Alexis was fantastic, made a couple of great saves and was fantastic coming off his line, played like a sweeper.

The passing is getting better game after game.

    Coaches Corner:
The boys were a little tired after the tough game on Saturday, especially the two holding midfielders. I also used this opportunity to start some of the younger boys, had 5 11 year olds in the starting line-up.

It was a tough game, but the boys played well, it could have been a lot worse for Old Bens, we missed 3 or 4 sitters that should have been put away.

  • League away game against Jomo Cosmos

  • Final score : 1-1 (Halftime 0-1)
  • Goal Scorers : Coleman

    Coaches Corner:
We made hard work of our away game against Jomo Cosmos. We started the game extremely well and controlled all facets of the match in the first half with Coleman scoring from a free kick 15 minutes into the game. We dominated possession and created numerous opportunities with our final pass letting us down in the 18 yard area. We started the second half on the back foot and it looked as if the boys thought the game was won at half time as they failed to perform to the same standard as the first half.. this resulted in some poor defending from all over the field which resulted in Jordan been beaten at his near post 10 minutes into the second half. We managed to get back into the game later in the half however we were not aggressive enough to finish off the opponents.

  • League away game against Jomo Cosmos
  • Final score : 1-1 (Halftime 0-0)
  • Goal scorers : Judas Moseamedi
  • Yellow Cards: Pitso Leroy, Pelane Akang, Bryan Perumal
  • Team Lineup: Calvin Kassel, Lwando Ncosana, Pelane Akang, Bryan Perumal, Andries M., Motsie Matima, Caylin de Carvalho, Pitso Leroy, Judas Moseamedi, Dorion Mankessi, Kevin Mc Kraven
Substitutes : Dylan M. Carrrera, Sibusiso Mncube, Stephene Reningault, Thabo Nodada, Gift Malambe, Tal Leiboff
    Coaches Corner:
The team started the game nervous resulting in missing several good oppurtunities. During the first half the team started to dominate and putting pressure on the opponents. This resulted in Judas scoring the opening goal in the second half. A mistake in defence gave JOMO the equalizer. A missed penalty by the Black Aces prevented to take maximum points. A missed opportunity to take the win but the atmosphere and the spirit is good in the team.
